Gel X
Gel-X is a type of nail extension that offers natural-looking, longer nails without having to wait for your natural nails to grow out. Although it’s applied directly onto your natural nail, Gel-X can create a longer final product due to clear tips that are blended seamlessly with your natural nails. During your gel manicure, your technician will first apply a pH bonder and nail primer. They’ll then apply one coat of thick, clear gel which is cured under an LED lamp to harden the material and secure the tip. To further secure the extension, more of the gel polish will be applied to the inside of the tip and cured again. Due to this unique process, Gel-X manicures are as thin as your real nails, resulting in a much more natural final look than acrylics or press-ons.

Dipping Powder
Dipping Powder is a modern nail extension technique that combines the strength of dipping powder with the seamless finish of Gel-X technology. Designed to deliver natural-looking, longer nails without the wait for natural growth, this method uses clear tips that are expertly blended with the natural nail. The process begins with a pH bonder and nail primer, followed by the application of a thick, clear gel layer that is cured under an LED lamp to solidify and secure the tip. For enhanced durability, additional gel is applied inside the tip and cured again. The result is a lightweight, ultra-natural appearance that mimics the look and feel of real nails—making it a more refined alternative to traditional acrylics or press-ons.

Builder Gel
Builder gel is a thick gel used to create structure and strength for natural nails or extensions, ideal for strengthening weak nails, creating overlays, or adding length using forms or tips. To apply builder gel, you'll need a nail file and buffer, nail dehydrator and primer (optional but recommended), builder gel, a UV/LED lamp, gel base and top coat, nail forms or tips (for extensions), cleanser or alcohol wipes, and a nail brush or applicator. Begin by washing and sanitizing your hands, then prep your nails by gently filing and buffing the surface to remove shine, pushing back cuticles, and applying a nail dehydrator followed by a primer. Apply a thin layer of gel base coat and cure under the lamp. Using a nail form or tip if adding length, apply a small bead of builder gel to the center of the nail and gently brush it outwards to shape, then cure under the lamp. You may need to apply a second layer for strength or shape, curing after each layer. Once satisfied, file and shape the nail, wipe off any sticky residue with cleanser or alcohol, and finish with a gel top coat, curing one last time for a glossy, strong finish.
